Laureate and cuirassed bust right.
Reverse: SEP TVRO METRO COL PENIC.
Temple of the Phoenician Koinon seen in perspective, above Δ, murex shell below.
Dimensions: AE, 7.90 g, 22 mm, 12h.

Condition: Encrustations on the reverse, fine details. Harshly cleaned. Good very fine.
Comment: Through other similar depictions of this temple, it can be identified as the temple of the Phoenician Koinon. The Phoenician Koinon was a federation of Phoenician cities. The cultural centre with the temple was located in Tyre as shown on this coin.
